Management at my store takes the cake. After our deli department has lost four employees in as many weeks, and not replacing any of their shifts, they wanna tell us how to display sandwiches and salads. Were now not allowed to put our sandwiches or salads out with the pricetag facing the customer. I...

If Kroger as it claims, is making less than two cents on the dollar profit,How the hell can they give our CEO Dave Dillon a 1.4 million dollar raise? Something don't sound right to me.

A few weeks ago my store started where you punch the clock to do a store sweep. I was Ok with that. At my store we have 4 Utility Clerks. The Courtyesty Clerk does not do our work unless it's after 7 or no utility clerk for some reason. When we started this I was told to only do sweep and store. Today I was told we...

I have been a conditioner for the last nine months. They toss one person to condition in the mornings, the entire large store, which happens to be the district store. I can manage it to an extent if I almost kill myself, however it's not 100% perfection, but it's good enough for them to not fuss overly abo...

I have been with kroger 15 years now and in the last 5 we have really gone down hill -- key retailing they have been trying to get that in all the stores for 5 years or more now -- IT DOES NOT WORK -- now they want Cap where we keep the tables close to empty unless company is coming in and we fill it up if company is...

I had to open one day. At one point I was getting the trash outside. As I made my way to the compactor, I was paged when I just got there. I hurried up, chucked my load in, and got back up front. I got written up because I didn't drop everything and run back up. The person that wrote me up was already upset becau...

As you can see by my post count I am a newbie on the boards. Finally decided to get myself an account and associate a name with my posts for however long or short my stay with Kroger ends up being. Since it's been asked what's the most difficult department to work in, I thought I'd ask what's the easiest department to work in?
