I used to get more customers asking in our store (Local 1996 area) if we sold vodka. Was told by a manager it would be an additional $5K cost to our liquor license. Are there any Kroger stores that DO sell these items?

If you have their health insurance, they issue you with a card that has a set amount on it. I am not sure but I think it is around $100. Those people are a PITA to deal with and don't understand why their cards won't cover ALL their groceries. Do you have those cards coming thru your stores too?

Have you ever rung up a bunch of items and then walked off and left them because the machine kept saying to scan the item before placing it in the bag even though you had? I did today. If it does it more than once, the attendant has to come fix it. I've always said one of these days I'm just walk off and leave it....
