Besides front end?

Literally, trash. I cannot wait to see what the circus drags in when we finish our hiring blitz this month. We are getting all our summer hiring done and I cannot believe what the trailer park is dragging into the Krog out here. All I can do is shake my head when these goofballs come in with their sweatshi...

I don't know if your division has started the new standards program, but.... The booklet for my department is 20 pages. Everyday you have to meet these standards and look "80% of grand opening" conditions. After 30 years with Kroger, this is the first time this will come out of my mouth. YOU don't pa...

I read here sometimes but dont write. The past three days were rough. Management decided to suddenly enforce the attendance policy. Mind you in the short time I have been there they never did so I knew nothing of it. Everybody just hung loose and called in like it was nothing. So now they got upset and d...

So, I was just wondering....who really does enjoy their store and their job and the people they work with? I LOVE my store. I loved shopping there and when I decided I needed a job to help ends meet - it was the first place I tried. Took a couple of months, but finally got hired. I love everyone there. A...

I currently work over night grocery crew into the Atlanta division, I'm full time and would like to keep it that way if possible. I'm looking at moving near Pensacola Florida, I know the kroger company owns Tom thumb down there. Are they unionized? What are the chances of staying full time transferri...

If so, is it possible to somehow "transfer" over to that kind of job within the company? Figured since I'm already an employee of Kroger... I'm a bagger at Kroger. I just got A+ and Network+ certified, and I've been looking for entry level IT jobs.

I'm just curious about what the experience is like and how complicated it is to learn how to do ALL that is required for the position? There's just SO MUCH info that you have to take in and while I'm hoping to get adequate training, I just want to prepare myself for what's expected of me.

I'm curious how honest would you guys say your co-workers are, that you work with? Bit of background: I was working Thursday, and it was a pretty typically busy day, and a even more typically skeletal crew of myself, the cake decorator and one of my back up managers. Which was all good, nothing unusual...

I just finished my last shift at Kroger. No more stupid customers. No more "friendly and fresh" bullsh*t. No more standing on my feet for several hours. No more pain and suffering. I accepted a full-time position at a much better company, and they will be paying me much, much more than Kroger would eve...

So I work in TN and the GM of our store is a bit of a bully. And I'm wondering if this is just my GM or if other employees are experiencing the same things.

I been working at Kroger's for 6 years and in that 6 years it's gone down hill. I been on scheduled 50+ hours for around 8 months. There is a staffing crisis, Kroger has stopped investing in employees, the new equipment is defective and slow, the policies are changing to where it dramatically affects w...
