I will hopefully be starting my training in the office soon (my main supervisor said so) but how will I know for sure when it will be? Will it mention training on my schedule? And how long after I get trained will I get an over ride card??

Like, literally, evil. At least that's what a highly upset elderly lady told me (and to my absolute delight, our store manager!). Apparently having a chip/EMV on your payment card is the mark of the beast, and she'd "rather starve" (also, she forgot her checkbook).

It's been a growing trend for sometime now, and you'll see more retailers with signs at both their manned and self check out lines: CREDIT/DEBIT ONLY. Cash is becoming extinct. I personally don't like this because cash is easier for me to manage......what are your thoughts on this?
