I got an SRI or whatever and was told I had to take a Break at 2 hours even if I didn't want it and not later than that. And that it was in the handbook that it has to be every 2 hours. Is this a true statement? Just curious. They said it was in the union contract and what not and I can't find an answer.

i am an ec kroger employee and quit so i could attend college. and honestly the only thing i have ever missed about the big K is the paycheck every week for not doing any thing all. i mean i sat in the break room for hours on end and got paid for it. i sat on a pallet of sugar for an hour and a half and got paid for it....

Went to Kroger tonight to see if any of the Valentine's Day candy was on sale -- all I found were the flowers. They've already taken down all the Valentine's and now have it set up for Easter. Within 48 hours of the end of Valentine's Day. Smooth. Gotta give them that.
