An employee who works in the same department I currently work in took an extended leave in May because he had to have surgery on his knee due to his injuring it while at work. Now he wants to return to work. What is Kroger's policy regarding any employee returning to work after an extended leave?

I filled it out today-my Admin said "it is just window dressing, they do it because they say they do it." I have been at my store for 7 years and we have NEVER had the results communicated to us.
