Last month, while I was doing Uscan, there was this couple checking out. As I'm walking around, like I always do, seeing if anybody needs help, the guy says to me, "why are you walking around like that? we're not stealing." This month, a guy was checking out, and I'm just walking around as usual. I'm not e...

I know you can't work for Kroger and work with competition like Walmart or heb but I have an interview with bluebell as a part time helper now I can't get fired for working for them can I?

I am a part timer, been for years. I'm finishing up school. Anyway, this 2018 open enrollment is the first time I do not have the option for medical insurance, just "ancillary insurance" which only includes dental and vision but not medical. Is it because I have been working less hours on average this p...

Before you tell me to call and ask, I did. My question was not answered as they seemed to be in a rush. Do you pick up your check from the courtesy desk or the office?

This incident happened last week when I was working at one of the express lanes. I scanned his groceries, and I let him know what his total was. Then he asked me if the shrimp and fish be bought was 25% off. So I pointed to the screen where the deduction was, and told him that yes, the shrimp and fish rung up as...

I've worked in my store for less than a year. Was promoted to Grocery backup last week. I'm the 5th one since I've started there. Our problem is we can get enough help. We have 4 to 5 people stocking. KMP nights are the worst. Absolute hell. And our backstock is out of control. Hard to do the job without...

I'm full time status so will our new managers be required to give us 40 hrs a week ? Will we get a pay increase if we go to a b...

There's something seriously wrong with this company. I've worked here 6 months and now I've worked through a tropical depression and snow storm that has shut my city down. I work 20 minutes away and am expected to go on black ice for retail hours. Again in dangerous conditions. I nearly spun out 3 times...

Has anyone used those reusable filters Kroger sells that you can use for the Keurig coffee makers? The black plastic ones you fill up yourself? I'm thinking about getting one, just wondering if they work. I have to save some money now that I'm unemployed. One good thing today, I'm up and dressed an...

OK! So people are going to start getting wrote up for having to work overtime, because others aren't doing their jobs. Why? I don't have time to do others jobs and do mine. Why not write those up who aren't doing their jobs, or are showing up late, or calling in all the time. I had to work overtime because...

Happened to me yesterday. All I did was help them out with a couple of produce items at the Uscan. They said thank you, followed up with a hug. He was with his brother. Maybe it was part of his culture, I dunno. But they were friendly and seemed very grateful I helped them. I just completely wasn't expectin...

Are we to be treated as a courtesy clerk because the budget apparently doesn't allow for more than two courtesy clerks? I don't mind bagging and getting carts, but it's hard to keep the restrooms clean and do my stuff while trying to do a job a courtesy clerk shoud be doing. I find myself being the only bag...

When I 1st started working for Kroger in 1970 as a high school part timer it was fun working there. I went full time after finishing High School. working on the stock crew, and it was still a fun place to work for, But when Kroger started moving more into the computer world as far as putting them in the store...

Does anyone else think its ridiculous that a simple meat clerk makes more money than a meat cutter? I thought cutting meat was a trade, a specialty deal like cake decorating or something. Kroger pays their baggers more or as much as their meat cutters, how in the world does that make any sense? You go to...
