I am not sure or I don't understand why this particular deal affected Kroger so much. Was Kroger a take over target for Amazon at one time?

Everytime they come to my line, they say absolutely nothing to me. Not a hi when I say hi, not a thank you when I say to them have a nice day. Just nothing. No eye contact either.
