So, we just head inventory for the first time with this new method. The one where you shoot everything to a location number, then just pull that up in ISP and make a printout instead of printing out tags to stick on everything. Everything went fine on our end, but then they came to actually do the invent...

So I have worked as a cashier at Kroger for about 3 1/2 yrs. Ever since Kroger started the apron policy I decided to never wear one. I hate aprons, I don;t like putting things that heavy over my neck because I feel getting choked, it's been about 2 months since they implemented and none of my managers tried...

I went to a different Kroger than I normally shop at yesterday. So it's back to school time again. I heard the store manager on the speaker telling employees that if they sold 7 of those school packages in 30 minutes he would buy the winner a coke and a candy bar. The second time the manager made an annou...

I've been a bagger for a year and a month now. I've been asking to get switched ever since my 3rd month! 9 months later I'm still asking til this day!! But during my year of working at kroger, they moved 3 baggers ahead of me(2 of em had way less seniority than me) and also hired a TON of new ppl for the position...

Well, when I called in sick and told my store manager I had to have some test ran - he asked what time was my shift (12:30-9) and asked what time my test was (1:30). He aske...

I've worked at Kroger for 8 years and the last year I've been gotten overly written up to the point of no return. I do great work and work hard. Now I'm on my 3 day suspension. I have a feeling I will get fired the next time I work unfairly! I'm looking for another job right now!

I quit Kroger this week. Got a new job making 11.00/hr to start. There you are expected to take your breaks and lunch, whereas my produce department expected me to work straight through. The job is fast paced, as was produce, but I am much more likely to give a damn about your fast pace when it does not invo...

How could a bagger impress managers enough to become a Floor supervisor? I'm doing a really good job at bagging, and everybody seems to commend me for doing so, even the manager of the store, plus all the co-managers. If they need extra baggers I'm always who they call first because I can come in, and ver...

A co-worker of mine was written up and suspended for not following the correct call in procedure. Apparently he called in the very early hours of the morning, and said he would not be in for work due to illness. The night crew manager said he would pass on the information to management. I was aware that he...
