I bagged for a customer today who was as rude as they come. She was basically telling me how to do my job. She ripped the bags out of my hand as she proceeded to tell me how to bag what. I put her bags of lettuce in with her other produce (on top, of course) and she totally freaked out on me. She was also taking thi...

I was asked by the District Coordinator to know how to do it by his next visit in a few weeks. I asked the grocery manager and some co-managers but they didn't seem to know or didn't really use it. I was just certified as the frozen lead

Does anyone have an employee handbook. The crooks at Krappers didn't give one out, wonder why, and I need it. I was not union and am no longer part of the company. I could really use this against the company. Like many of you, it ruined my life and was not gainful employment.

If ****stomers wanna treat me like some robot, then I'll start fuking acting like one from now on. I'll try to make their shopping experience as awkward and uncomfortable as possible. Also, the other day, I was talking to one of my coworkers and said that I wanted to run out in front of traffic blindfold...

I "failed" my mystery shopper interaction in the deli because I neglected to ask said customer what they were going to do with their meat.

Does anyone ever feel guilty for saying no? My manager called me earlier because someone called in today. We already had one quit and another putting in their two week's notice. She's the one who called in so I wouldn't be shocked if she doesn't come back anymore. So basically there's like no one to ever...

Are 15 minute breaks paid time?

Poolsclosed · Poolsclosed

Just curious. I started with Kroger (Smith's) a few months ago. I am now the Seafood "Manager" and when we do the huddles in the morning they talk about the 100-150 or so comments we get, per day, and how that is way more than most stores see. So how many comments are some of your stores seeing o...

I really think it speaks volumes when management is suddenly okay with approving hundreds of hours of overtime and six day pay for multiple associates during a week leading up to a big, big visit from corporate headquarters in Cincinnati. So, all these problems, including store cleanliness (or a la...

Please stop sending me stuff I cannot sell. If you don't want the stuff.. stop producing them. My freezer is slowly being taken over by crap I cannot sell, and marking down is only going so fast. After awhile the DM might start bitching about all the MDing I'm doing. I don't need 40 cases of MAC cups white c...

This OSAT is a joke, and this company has placed TOO much focus on it. This company has become "all about the customers"..but whatever happened to making your employees happy as well? keeping your employees happy will, in turn, make for a happy workplace environment, and ultimately crea...

I found out a perfect way to get OSAT scores at my work thus keeping management and DM's off our back. What I have done is first go onto the website for the survey. I generate a whole bunch of emails (hawt_rodder@yahoo.com etc) and then rate the store a 5. I leave out my phone number. To keep them from gettin...
