so orientation
(Preview)
So I just got hired (for the clicklist/ecommerce position) and I'm suppose to start my orientation tomorrow. I attempted to ask this question before on reddit, but most were pretty unhelpful or told me to quit and find something better lol. (Please don't bother telling me this, I'm literally a colle...

Our lead has gone out to high call outs again.
(Preview)
Good lord how did this guy even get promoted? At what point does the company draw the line to decide between human compassion or allowing the business to flow properly? Yes they've written him up a few times. He calls out management has literally given up doing anything about it. Staff is getting tire...

14 Zebras missing
(Preview)
I wonder if people are as careless with their cell phones or car keys as they are with these things. All it takes is for a few people to misplace them or accidentally take them home for everyone to start hoarding them. They should start suspending people for losing them. If I'm lucky to find one in the m...

On trolling

I've done a lotta trolling on here, but I always at least try to be funny (Shequitha Davis, Ching Chong, Gary, Gunnery Sgt. Ralph Rawten, etc.). But for you mean types out there----one in particular who slimes around between midnight--3a, always telling people to quit thier job, or in other ways tryn...

Apparently, I am treated badly because I came from humble background while other employee has an educated parent and higher social ladder status. Is this normal from kroger?

Why is it so hard to get problem managers out of your store/fired?
(Preview)
I work in the Local 1996 Atlanta GA area. We have one woman in our store that has racked up SO many complaints and last year someone took her to court for what I believe was harassment. Our co-manager can't stand her and I notice our store manager takes his time in responding to her inquiries on the walkie....

STOP the spy games!!
(Preview)
Just got a memo about the "mystery shops" happening in the fuel center. Told my customer service lead that I am not a "trained animal in the zoo that smiles on command." She agreed with me but said she still had to give me the memo. My fuel lead just got a ms last week. WTF is happening to this company?!?

I feel sorry for yall
(Preview)
Been noticing lately how Kroger seems to have cycled back to forcing their employees to greet customers, smile and ask how they're doing. Nobody naturally wants to do that. People as a species suck too much these days. One kid who'd just done that forced march with me went back to work, and I expressed m...

Does your store have those obnoxious-Walmart-type greeters at the entrance to your store?
(Preview)
We have one in our store-he is more interested in kissing a** than watching out for shoplifters which is what his main job is. As a result our store is #1 in our region for theft.

Since they changed up the website to be able to check vacation hours I'm having a hard time locating this info. It used to be on the same website that you were able to check your paystub. Anyone know where they moved this info to?

I've told them to stop taking pics of me. Employees are making excuses like we are friends. But we are not. Anyone got real suggestions? I'm not even attractive and they be taking pics of me.
