I was clocked out for a break and a customer came up to me in the parking lot and wanted a refund from his gas pumping. I work at the fuel center and I was on my break. Supervisor said I should have gone back to give him his refund. Customer was older black man. Do I mention what happened to my store manager?

I do highly appreciate customers that assist in bagging their large orders rather than grumbling why it takes so long. I unfortunately can't tell you how many customers can not bag a bag of groceries. I can't tell you how many times customers try to assist us but in reality they're actually making mo...

1. Act like a d***head and say your change is 5.90 you will get two quarters and a combo of dimes and nickels. 2. "I want 21 and 14 scratch off tickets": Sorry I am in the middle of an audit (at 8:30PM-we shut our lottery down at 9PM per management.) 3. "Sorry you can't pay for gas with lottery tickets"-happe...

You have been warned. My area has had multiple stores targeted more than once. If a customer doesn't have a valid id regardless of age refuse sale. If a customer throws a tantrum you also have the right to refuse sale. The only place you might fail is sco because the company has failed to fix the patch that...

Where I live they closed almost everything down. No, I didn't particularly need anything, but we've been conditioned into being a culture of market place junkies, and it was great having at least ONE place to get my fix. There's a growing number of people with nobody to be with and no where to go on these...

Theft has been extremely high at my store lately and today I had a customer walk out without paying at USCAN. Does Kroger have procedures for people who walk out but have their Kroger card information left on the transaction ?

It happens every time the bacon goes on sale: Customer grabs the most expensive brand of bacon and demands the digital sale price on that. I'm sorry we can not substitute items and company policy will not let you have a $15 item * 5 of them for 85% off. You get what the damn sale item is. If you want don't want...

Having worked many a years with jobs with strict attendance policies I'm beginning to see why my coworkers casually call out 2-4 times a month. My managers were impressed that I call out once a month if that. I'm reliable, punctual and willing to come in on off days and adjust my schedule as needed. Afte...

How do you handle favoritism amongst your department lead? Management turns a blind eye to this and it's getting old. So it's okay for one person to do the same task but if I do it I get scolded for it? It's literally part of our job duties to do certain tasks and I'm being verbally scolded about going off...

I'm fortunate to reside in a state that doesn't get much snow except between Dec-early Feb and we don't get much. I work with a couple people who call out for the entire duration of a snow event. and yet they don't get fired or punished for it. How many days can you call out and still be safe before they enact...

Several reports of employees not getting paid and under paid due to the new system roll out. I can probably go a month or two without pay any longer than that and my savings will dry up. I have two choices at that point sue or get another job. I feel several coworker agree with me on this.
