Dear customers: If you refuse to allow us to scan your id for your liquor sales: We CAN and WILL Refuse sales! I don't care if you're 80+ and beign a jerk about it. If you so much argue with the cashier I will refuse sale of liquor. According to u.s. law once the question has been presented we can not undo it. N...

All jobs do really, but retail's at the top of the dung heap. I've read pretty much all the arguments for staying: long term union employee, can't beat the money, easy work, decent benefits, yada yada. All I can say is, if you're really hip deep into Kroger and it's working for you, then of course stay. Bu...

Had a customer get mad at a dairy worker yesterday because the Milo tea was on a pallet (very bottom) and couldnt be reached till they get to the pallet first. Customer gets upset and saying she wants to talk to a manager about how the pallet is leaning. Even the associates told the customer that the palle...

So every now and then, I make a trip to my local Kroger. Although it's been years since I worked there, I was a courtesy clerk and part of that was the dreaded cart retrieval. Sometimes when I get there and see a corral overflowing with carts not because of the employees, but clearly because customers wer...

Does anyone know what the Kroger policy is on employees carrying concealed firearms? I have my CCL, so everything is legal. I just want to make sure I won't get fired for carrying at work.

Scanning customer id's starts tomorrow 9/1 fellow employees. Have fun. I'm only gloating because I got the next couple days off and won't have to deal with day one of this sh--it. You will no longer be able to manually enter the dob's for restricted items. No id, no valid id no sale. Period. Yes if your cu...

I would put it first but front end is #1. Dairy is down to 3 people and one person put in their 2 weeks. The other quit two weeks ago. I work grocery and they usually pull me to help dairy out as well as this other girl. Any other person I talked to says theyll rather lick the floor than help dairy

Anyone else think that it's childish for corporate to no longer allow Closing orders after editing them? Before you say its because zebra processes must be done right to Work, we scan everything every week and holes and it still leads to 40ish cuts being needed on my orders. Cases we do NOT need. Triggers loads of delayed stress if you been working here a while but still has amusing stuff. Like a video of a young black male running from the building like he isn't too worried about cops making assumptions. Or the advice, "Run as far away as you can. If you can still see the building you are too close...

Since were understaffed badly theyve been staffing a lot of us part time workers full time hours. Part time is up to 7 hours. Why tf am I working up to 8-9 hours and some times I can barley take my lunch break or 15 and I get called Upon to help? This job is a joke.
