Hey everybody, Quick question before work. But I was curious to know if any one else heard about the ovens at the market place locations not being safe? Not the chicken shop ones, but the pizza ovens. I was told about this the other day by a friend/co-worker of mine. That she had heard in passing from some...

I found 5 of the Kroger 2 for 5 size ice creams on the drink isle. The manager told me to put them back in the freezer even though they were soft as sh!t. Should I have done that?

I used to get along with a co-manager just fine. Then they started to treat me like dirt. They called me up to discuss a few times where I messed up, usually minor things, and I would own up to it if I was at fault. Get a warning and go back to work. However they would bully me and bark at me but be all nice-nice t...

We got notice on the front end that we are to tell customers that they are no longer allowed to take their small carts outside anymore to unload their groceries. Is this something Kroger is doing companywide? I don't see this as good customer service .

So have any of you guys ever had a power outage in your store, or have gone to another store to help during or after a power outage? I volunteered for the chain call list a while back ago so I was at another store in my district yesterday putting the store back together after they had a power outage. The store...

Bad Management, Low Pay, No Work-Life Balance Krogrr? Yes. Also, Horizon Air, where Richard Russell worked. The reviews sound very sadly familiar. - Despite the rhetoric: no one cares about safety. - Pay is downright shameful - Zero flexibility in work/life balance. Have had coworkers discipli...

A disabled coworker spends a lot of time on his phone chatting on social websites. His disability does not make him understand the reality around him well. The other day his friend scammed him out of $1,500 worth of Amazon gift cards. Due to his mental disability he willingly handed them all over to...

I am currently a GOM for Kroger and have been for 7 months. They have brought in another GOM from another location and told me not to worry that the store was a two GOM store and it would be a great learning experience for me since this other GOM has over 20 years in the grocery business. I have this nagging fe...

Have any stores started this new order evolution thing yet? Anyone have any details? Apparently, they are doing away with CAO from what I've heard. It sucks being a department head and having to hear about stuff like this from the grapevine. All I know is that we have to take a few computer lessons expla...

What exactly is procedure if I as a UC am on carts, and find an animal / child in distress in a vehicle. My belief is the following -report it to Service Desk to make an announcement for the customer to come up immediately -report to a member of management / LP immediately for their action and follow instru...

If your warehouse runs out the first day of the ad, and send max quantities or none at all. Literally EVERY SINGLE TIME the small Tide bottles go on sale, our warehouse runs out on the truck after the ad begins. Literally like clockwork. Same thing with the Mayo and Ketchup for that 1 day .99 sale a while ag...
