Has anyone else's store sales dropped? Just found out that our hours given to departments are determined by sales. I guess this makes sense, but what doesn't is why my hours are cut down to two when we currently lost two full timers. Shouldn't this mean that we have more hours to give out then? We hav...

At what point is it appropriate is to ask for a raise? Or am I just gonna be given the runaround about how I should just work my hours, or go help another store on my nights off, or blah blah blah?

Just wondering how much waste is out there. Doesn't it show up on their books and set off red flags? Our store has tons of waste thrown out and that's just what I'm aware of. Funny thing there was a PA announcement stating Kroger has a zero waste policy haha !

I started at $7.35 :(. The reason I asked is because my friend just got hired for the deli and she'll be making 11 to 12 per hour :( but she also is attending a art institute for culinary arts. When I started Kroger I was 17 attending college but only offered 7.35 per hour (less than my seasonal job).

all it takes is one late truck to completely **** up a department. You may have one guy scheduled to sort and stock a truck, but if that truck is late, they're having to do something else (backstock for instance) until the truck arrives. Then the guy who is supposed to condition that evening will likel...

So I found out today that soon our bakery pies will be coming in pre baked. This is NOT good at all. Sure right now so many bakery departments are understaffed I get that. This is a terrible solution. It will take hours away and make us nothing more than glorified stockers. Baking used to be a skill, we act...

Has anyone else had to do this? A courtesy clerk fell outside while trying to get carts and filed a incident report... Now everyone is having to sign papers that say if you fall because of snow or ice while on the clock that Kroger is not liable for yardda yadda yadda... Makes one wonder to what extent Kr...

Idiot today thought ALL the Simple Truth items were in ONE place-he claimed he couldn't find anything. Had to explain that the items are located all over the store and it depended on what he was looking for. This is the second time I had a customer who thought these items were all in one place.

So.......what is the scoop? Did the store close down as scheduled last week? IS every thing now Hunky Dorey? I understand this was the McMahan store.........is that true? Was the backroom straightened up, and is the backstock under control? Are there enough employees to take care of busines...

Had a group of teenagers today, who um, I guess you could say they put on a performance in the middle of the store. Loud music, all sorts of dancing. A couple of them were dressed in these weird comical costumes. Everyone was like what the hell is going on and laughing. Went on for all of two minutes until th...

Got told, yesterday, that someone, from the stores that are closing, is going to get the position I've been working so hard for. I've been working my butt off, 9 months, for this position. I've been stressing myself out, being hated by everyone in my department, and working twice as hard as everyone e...

Gave my third or so "one on one" talk with a guy in my department today. It's been the first in some time - mainly due to not seeing him as he works the evening shift. My aggravation begins when him not doing what he is supposed to at night, which is to fill all tables 2 layers before he leaves. We have a pretty s...

In the past, I've read some comments on here basically saying EthicsPoint is useless and calling is a waste of time, and that may have sadly been the case for the people that made those comments, but I'm here to say that if you're having a problem in your store, it's worth a call. I recently called the hotl...
