Mr Frontenac

They were buying beer, and I asked them for their ID, and she responds "are you ****ing kidding me right now? I'm yalls night manager." And I'm like well sorry, I work during the afternoon. I've never stayed past 10pm. Sorry this is the first time I've met you. Then she mumbles on some words I assume to be m...

I'm a new hire and had never worked in retail before (worked in fast food for about a year). I guess I'm too trusting because I got check scammed the other day. The people who scammed me had shopped here not even two days ago so I thought I had no reason to be suspicious. Will definitely be more aware now. I'm...

So got into work the other day in the deli. And was helping a couple of customers after giving my usual hellos to everybody. And then out of the blue my DH, whom has said hello to about everyone else but myself(guess he was still fuming about me forgetting the doughnut case of late). So I thought nothing of...

Ours is closing at 7PM

Mr Frontenac

Basically a camera pointed at them with a small monitor displaying their face, pretty much saying "Hey... we've got our eyes on you..." I went to shop at another Kroger and their Uscans had these. It made me laugh a bit.

Several times a week my bakery manager would come in at 7:00 AM and wonder if the night people were baking the correct amount of cookies on the CAP sheet. It turns out that they were. However, the Click List people were grabbing ten to twenty packages of them to hand out to their customers. You don't do...

I was recently told by a supervisor that gift cards have to be separated from the rest of the groceries. I honestly forgot what she said , something about it being the holidays and if the two are rung up together , the total ends up being 0. I dont know something like that. Just curious as to whether it is li...

I ordered 25 cases of sweet potatoes tomorrow. We already have 10 cases in back stock and the shelves are full. At first I thought we would be able to sell through all of this, even after checking the POP projections. I ran out of sweet potatoes during Thanksgiving week so this time I bumped the order up an...
