When we are requested to come in early to our scheduled shift it is a bit of a b--itch to clock in early. It must be approved by management. It can be immediate or take all day or all week before approved. Sorry lead but I'm not coming in early any more. You need to coach/talk to the manager about what you want...

I hate to say it but could you people please start on time. My store had to start cracking down on people abusing the 7 min time clock lenience because we kept getting people clock in at 7 min after start of shift, take 5-10 min to come down and it's like 20 min in before they're at post. Yes, we'd all love to n...

The Kroger by me is hiring for night stocking job and I am interested in applying. How difficult is the job ? They are looking for people to work 9pm to 6am. I know there would be hard labor unloading the trucks but I have done that before in previous jobs. Is there a quota for how much you have to get done...

Store finally realized if they schedule me more than a 7+ day work week I'll call out in the middle regardless. They finally got the hint of years of fighting with them and realized if I work 7+ day work week I'll just call out on day 6. Each time I work more than 7+ days in a row I always get sick and I've just s...

Not like Kroger in store discounts, but like car rental discounts.

Poor bastards who work in these holes have an interesting set of grievances that should serve as a warning to anyone who might think about applying with a Kroger brand.

I think it's time my coworker decide if they want this job any more before management enacts job abandonment. He decided he hates this company and refuses to do his job duties. He'll do the bare, bare, bare minimum to not get in trouble and now he's refusing to do that. I feel for ya but you have to work at th...

If I were to spray paint a set of my brown turds a pink-like color and wrap it into the same packaging as the other sausage packs would that work? I resent fat middle-aged women and I was hoping someone like that would buy it. Imagine the look on her face as she fried it at home in a pan and smell started to ge...

Well you see, ever since corporate has come management has been really strict. For example, we are no longer allowed to make trains with the carts because it is "not safe." Sunday night I decided to help this one guy out and take his hour long cart shift right before my hour long cart shift. Wh...

I want to address employee retaliation against Kroger management. Since it's illegal to have cameras in the restroom, what's stopping a disgruntled employee from retaliating against an atheistic manager that manages with a "anything is fair game" mentality? Is there a way to clog the upstairs...

when we scheduled our vacations at the beginning of the year, one of our dept backups picked the same week as me. I have 20+ years, she only has 5yrs. Does she get it because she is a manager or do i get it because of seniority? I've been told both ways.

Every time someone gets sick they insist on working thus contaminating the staff and putting more people out of work. I recently got sick from some dumb aff that did this and work lost me for 5 days because of the flue bug. You can quickly get a dr note digitally these days. Unless you opted out of insuranc...
