I'm sick but still came to work and tried to make it through the day. I was on lunch break. I got up to clock in. Sat back down to take my medicine and ended up falling back asleep/ Manager sent me home and said we will talk about it later. Will they fire me?

Like, literally, evil. At least that's what a highly upset elderly lady told me (and to my absolute delight, our store manager!). Apparently having a chip/EMV on your payment card is the mark of the beast, and she'd "rather starve" (also, she forgot her checkbook).

I can't for the life of me figure out why people ERMAHGERD HAVE TO HAVE MY CHECK THE DAY IT'S THERE. I know it's none of my business what other people do, I'm sure the majority of people who don't have direct deposit still go pick it up. But I don't. It's my day off, I don't even drive to that side of town (not...

It's been a growing trend for sometime now, and you'll see more retailers with signs at both their manned and self check out lines: CREDIT/DEBIT ONLY. Cash is becoming extinct. I personally don't like this because cash is easier for me to manage......what are your thoughts on this?

Seriously, what do I need to do to get out of this? Ive been with Kroger for 15 yrs and grocery lead for 7 yrs. Now the sm tells me my job is on the line if I dont handle grocery, frozen, deli and produce. There is no way in hell I can take on all that. Any ideas?

I'm with Kroger Corporate, and we're doing a social media sweep of all employees associated with anti-Kroger company pages. This is your chance to cease and desist, if you wish to continue your employment and career aspirations with Kroger inc. Thank you, and have a good day.
