On my last two paychecks there is a deduction called "UNION ARREARS." I already paid my union initiation fee of $25 (I'm 15 so it's lower than most.) My regular union dues are $8.44. I heard some people say that if you have a vacation week then they take out money of your next paycheck. However I was n...

I just enjoyed a $12. shopping trip for $2. 600% discount. Love it. See, the Super Rich are to blame for this; they keep creating and exploiting markets with their bullsh!t supply shortages. 2 great examples: Reg lettuce heads cannot be found any where. But the more expensive ORGANIC ones are plentif...

Employee in a Kroger Store

It's great to know the customers whom used to worked for kroger when kroger purchased more retail stores. They tell me how better it was back then and the prices. It's also good to meet former employees whom understand how kroger operates, though, some former employees are loving the toxic culture. A...

How do you deal with creepy old men that try to hit on you? I keep having this one dude follow me and befriend me. Out of the blue one day he recognizes me and says he knew me when his kid was in school. Hell if I remember where I knew him from growing up. I maybe had like 1/2 a recess date with his kid and that was it...

Why cant clicklist customers arrive ON TIME to get their orders? Or at least make an attempt to come AS CLOSE to the time slot as possible. It off-sets my break because most of them decide to show when I am on break. Then if no one is there to deliver it while I take break, I have to come off my break to do it. The...

Kroger just doesn't get it: They can't schedule you a 10 day work week just because you asked for 3 days in a row off then get pi-sy as he-ll when you call out in the middle due to a pounding headache.

This must be a store-by store thing. I've only noticed it at one. One of the stores in my town has taken to broadcasting their store music LOUD AS HELL. It's the first thing you hear when you get out of your car. I thought it was someone's car stereo til I got into the store. The genre is mostly calm, easy list...

Are there cameras in the restrooms at Kroger? What if someone I know wanted to clog the toilet, and then leave. What evidence would be available? The camera showing who is going in and out of the restroom and that's it?

The store I work at has a regular who comes in once or twice a week. Nice guy, if not a little off his rocker. Until I found out one day that he likes to run a scam. It goes like this. He will get just a few groceries. Goes to a lane. The stuff is rung up and uh-oh, he can't pay with his expired-for-however-long d...

The front end just got the new schedule for next week. Most of the senior employees still have their original scheduling, a few, like me, are just slightly changed, and the others got hit pretty hard. Some have even talked about leaving and the other employees that got hit but are staying are going to be...

My fellow sco attendants: Just be warned that gift card theft is really high right now. My location recently had to pull the visas off and put a note on the slot that said request at service center behind counter. The other day we caught a group of 5 youths trying to fraud buy with stolen cards 5k+. Be on the...
