I'm applying for the Overnight Grocery Head, and I need to know what the job description is. Can anybody explain to me in thorough what the Head does? I know they do end caps and shadow boxes for ad, but what else?

Does anyone know if an employee is allowed to use their Kroger card in other states 500+ miles away? Do fuel points work?

They ask me where something is. It just so happens it's the one thing I don't know. Someone else beside me knew and told them where to find it. Then that person said to me "Thanks man. You don't know what the hell you're doing, but thanks anyways." Not sure whether they were intentionally wanting me to pun...

We have a problem with excessive paging in our store-how do we get a handle on it? Yesterday I was paged 5 times in a 40 minute period-more than the managers. It's getting out of hand-any ideas to reduce the noise?

What are some things that annoy you about your job here at Kroger? Things that you deal with on an almost daily basis.

Every time we get a new hire in the deli, they work a few Sundays (our busiest day) and decide "I'm going to be unavailable on weekends from now on." Back when I was first hired many years ago, if you were a new hire you had to work weekends and evenings. But now it seems like they give permanent weekends off t...
