An old guy I work with told me that the company can take away your stuff, like if you win the lottery or something they will just take it because you were an employee. I asked the hr person about it and got no denial just evasion and asking me stuff. Now they want to know who I was talking to and all of the mana...

I haven't been scheduled in weeks, but I had a vacation scheduled next week and I got paid for it. I asked the managers, but they're being incredibly vague about it and won't give me real answers. I talked to the union about it and their only solution was to bump people, but I don't think it's a viable solut...

Should I report this to my stores management? A coworker fired for theft was caught in the employee break room for no apparent reason. He acted dumbfounded when employees asked what he wa doing there. He was fired 2-4 months a go and we occasionally keep finding him in the break room. Im worried he mi...

I'm over night 10-6 and was told last Monday night we would have to come in at 7...we werent told until 11 pmish....that's a violation by my reading of the c...

Do you ever find that certain departments always end up with terrible help and lazy employees? I have noticed both deli and front end end up with the laziest people around. Night crew sometimes has the same issue.

Since I got back from maternity leave I've had $5 taken out of each check for union arrears.....are they really making me pay back my dues for the weeks I was off for maternity leave?

Such a dumb slogan. And it has been trademarked. Kroger spent a HUGE amount of money on their new ad agency in NY to come up with this. It should already be a "given", right?? It should be assumed that we now (and always have) wanted to provide fresh products to all customers. All grocery stores tr...

Not sure I understand.........is this new yellow signage with the "cartoonish" looking characters for a limited time (one period, one month, 6 months, a year???) or is it the new, relatively "permanent" theme / motif / logo / brand we are going to use??? I would like to hear what everybody thinks o...

Anybody else feel this way??? I barely take a break and Im constantly made to feel like I just never do enough , And besides that I am treated like an incompetent. Theres no way I could possibly finish and manage all the things that they give you to do in a shift, since we are so understaffed all the time ....

FES needs to show up for work now and then. First store I've worked at where he does less work than the cashiers and is out more than a part timer. I've lost total respect for him as a supervisor. He's never there for you when you need help. You often have to call a manager to get assistance and when you do...

I'm dressing up as a prisoner at work tomorrow. I didn't get the costume specifically for work, but I figured I can add to it and turn it into something hilarious. I am making a paper ball and chain to go around my ankle, along with paper handcuffs. I'm the cake decorator at the store, and I'm also going to m...

"My" Kroger is starting to look like our Wal-Mart now. Earlier this year, Wal-Mart did something similar. Two more cashier lines gone.

I submitted two issues (both anonymously) that had to do with people abusing tax-exempt status by using a service called Shipt. The other complaint I had was people writing down any old number in our tax exempt book and walking out without paying the requisite sales tax. Got a response saying that "pe...
