have worked here for 15 years. Pension letters got sent out and payout is $17..why are we paying high union dues again? This is ridiculous. Anyone else get these ridiculous numbers??

The student tried to followed an senior employee into the parking lot. Also, the student followed me twice within the store as I was shopping. Mind you, this student does this while we are all on lunch. Serious stalking issues at one kroger store. DM needs to manage employees whom can't handle their f...

Two 8 hrs shifts isn't even worth going in for. My manager screwed me over again. First it started abt 30ish hours then they deleted two shifts. If they were not doing a special last minute swap for a medical I would of called the union and said "They're f*'n with my schedule again." I have called out for we...

This one is going to get ugly....not like 3 years ago when they were out 10 days and it was quickly resolved. They're advertising for Strike Captains. King Soopers/Kroger has proposed a $4 an hour raise over the life of the contract-which equates to $1.00 per hour per year. What an insult. And why would...

Some of the suggestions I made to our Negotiating Rep: 1. Eliminate Fresh Start-99 percent of the time it has nothing to do with the Fuel Center. 2. A more specific policy to get problem managers out of Kroger-and not just transfer them to another store where they will be someone else's problem 3. CLOSE...

My time does not register that you took 30 min lunch. Lately it's been saying exception long break. I really hate this ducken time clock. Many coworkers have noticed their punches are way off and several have had to investigate their last month worth of pay as nothing was right. Always double check y...

I think it is UFCW Local 7. I remember 3 years ago when they struck for 10 days. That one was nasty....but from what I have read Soopers has made a "last/best/final" offer. This one is going to get nasty and ugly.

I'm honestly sick of our current store manager. I am glad this is a training store and we don't get a manager longer than 6-12 months at most. This current manager is quite an aff hole. I've had numerous issues with him and filed a union grievance against him for targeted harassment for various bs he was d...

To my coworker pulling 5-10 hrs of over time each week and stealing everyone else's hours. Only to end up doing a half affed job and thinks he'll still be employed at the end of the year. Nope, your time is done .The complaints are rolling into management and they're investigating you. Everyone else can...

First time ever posting here and I generally keep from posting anything about the company. But after 20+ years here I need to vent. I am sure all companies have unrealistic and silly expectations that are forced down by corporate desk jockeys, but this place takes the marked-down day-old cake. I wor...

Is your store doing the same?

There is a commercial that plays over the intercom at Kroger. It's about using Kroger Pay on your phone at the fuel station. One of the benefits they mention is you don't even have to get out of your car. So how goes the gas get into your car without you getting out to pump it?

Our cashier was left alone at 9PM and the store was still slammed. Our Fuel Center had one call out because she lives so far away and it would have been dangerous for her to drive

I use to work in a grocery store deli (not Kroger). I hated it. Not the job but the people I had to work with. I could have sworn these were the requirements to work in that department: 1) female 2) 40+ y.o. 3) fat and sometimes tremendously fat When the gals who let themselves go, did not have a customer to...

I am so sick of this company and decided it be time to move on from kroger. I finished my AA half of my degree recently and began working on the second half. By kroger reducing hours it is only encouraging me to move on from this crabby company. I can't live on 30 hrs a week. Due to good financial habits over th...

On the old system you could request a few hours off for an appointment. No, this bloody new system you have to request an entire day off for an appointment. The request heavily dings your hours instead of the company being flexible and allowing you to work life around your work schedule. Glad school has...

The last couple of years I've endured a lot of harassment in various forms and degrees from my location. And the company wonders why I no longer wish to remain with them? Gee, years of harassment and being treated poorly. Yea, I'm done. Bartering me with negativity and harassment only to get the union r...

The Ralph's at 15120 Sunset Blvd, Pacific Palisades, California, 90272, is gone. Bastards burned right down. Sad for some, perhaps... But it is a truly evil wind that blows no one any good. Perhaps they will get a nice Albertsons.
