During the years I was working for Kroger, the company always seemed to spend money on something when contract time came up to justify low ball pay raise offers. Well earlier today I had to take my mother to the Kroger I use to work at and there were men what I thought where new wheels on all the shopping ca...

I put in my 2 week notice that I wont be coming to work due to finding a new job. Will I still get paid for my vacation/sick pay?

So was just told or more less asked by my DH Monday, if I had scheduled or put in for my personal days off(I get 2 as I got full time later in the year). Which, I didn't even know about these days and that by a certain point in time that you had to take them. So now, I have to cram them in before November 15th. But my...

I've been working as a bakery closer for about a month now and it's pretty awful. Just to give some background; this is a smaller, older store compared to others but it's in a growing town so it's pretty busy. The tables go empty very fast since there isn't much room. The bakery's freezer is filled to the c...

And how often do they acknowledge you? I've been practicing saying "have a nice day" to customers as they go outside and greeting people when I'm walking through the aisles. But I don't like that empty feeling I get when I'm not acknowledged. But on the other hand, I can kind of see why, I mean it feels ki...

One of the four store managers, I think, dislikes my existence. I mean I don't know how else to put it. I've tried to say hello to him as I walk through the halls. When I've had to ask him necessary questions related to the job, he answers me with this look of disgust in his face. I can almost picture him wanti...

I'm a CC and I always try to do my best, but I feel like my coworkers (cashiers) sometimes get annoyed by me. What is a fast bagger to you? Usually I bag just in time when the customer finishes paying or like 30 secs after (which is like forever with everyone starting at you to finish) And I try to get custome...

I may have accidentally taken two photocopied coupons. I was checking the numbers (which were small print) but the customer was rushing me and being rude to me the whole time. Could I lose my job for this? They were $2 off coupons, if that matters.
